Good morning!
And because I know many of us would like another kind of special drink…and to repeat…
Well, now we have that sorted out…I am feeling like I am…
Probably because I am a …
Here are a few beautiful pictures for you.
And a few wise words.
I found this on line and it gave me a chuckle. The kangaroo is like that cheeky croissant crab above but what a hoot. Love these two!
Peace to all!
I am hoping to go to the garden center today.
Isn’t this just exquisite?
I finished another puzzle and I believe I could happily live here. Okay, it is just one of those silly dreams I have.
Thank you for visiting my friends and…
(Thank you Pinterest for the inspiration.)
Denise, you have outdone yourself with this post. Beautiful art, lots of smiles and laughs and I love the white flower with the rain drops ❤️ 💕 Thank 😊 you so much for sharing, dear friend.
ReplyDeleteWell thank you my dear friend :) You are very welcome and it makes me very happy you enjoyed xo
DeleteGood morning Denise!
ReplyDeleteCoffee is definitely a must today!
What a great puzzle, I could live here happily too!!
Greetings Katerina :) That is my favorite start to the morning too. So glad you liked the puzzle. This place would be wonderful to live in.
DeleteOh, the white rose with the dew on it, stunning! And I, also, would love to live in this cottage with the bikes out front. The bikes would be for the nearby farmer's market and bakery. The Snoopy quote gave me a laugh; it is exactly like me. And the following artworks are gorgeous. Hoping you will let us know all about the Garden Center!
ReplyDeleteThe white rose was an incredible picture I agree. I like your take on using the bikes to visit the farmer’s market. Snoopy made me laugh too and I can also see myself there. Happy you liked all the artwork. I will most definitely let you know about and share photos from the garden center.
DeleteAll are good but love the food ones the best, Denise.
ReplyDeleteTea with breakfast is my choice and what I have, wouldn't dream of having coffee in the morning and really can't understand why people want it first thing of the day - are they addicted I wonder. Don't mean to offended anyone at all, just wondering.
Hello Margaret and a good comment :) Coming from a family of tea drinkers, where the kettle stayed on the hob literally all day long, the only coffee I ever drank was in local cafes. I have to say I didn’t enjoy them very much. However, when I got married and moved here, proper tea, as I used to call it, couldn’t be found. I am talking about the tea I grew up with, the hot kind with milk and sugar added. There was iced tea and herbal tea, and I couldn’t stand either. But the coffee, oh my goodness, it was fantastic and the smell of freshly roasted beans greeted the nostrils and drew me in. I have been a coffee drinker ever since. As the world opened up a bit more, I was able to buy my favorite, British tea, Yorkshire Gold. I make myself one cup of black coffee in the morning with breakfast or just after, and am trying to limit myself to those from the coffee shop to the weekend, try being the operative word. I make myself one cup of Yorkshire Gold in the afternoon but still am not a fan of iced tea like my husband, who is also not a coffee drinker. In the evening I make myself a cup of herbal. My favorite is Chamomile infused with honey and vanilla. Maybe I am addicted but I don’t crave it so probably not. I do like my routine though :)
DeleteThank you for this fun post. I love the food creations - they are soooo clever. Tea for me. Chai for preference.
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome and happy you enjoyed :) A cup of chai sounds just the ticket.
DeleteThis is such a feel good post!
ReplyDeleteI am very happy you think so. Much appreciated Roentare :)
DeleteI love the food art, but would never be bothered to do it. My morning drink, and drink all day, is hot water with lemon or lime.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day, Denise.
That’s great! I am not sure if I would do it either, perhaps if little ones came over for a meal. I usually have my water with a squeeze of lemon juice, lime also but not quite as often. I have hot water with lemon, ginger and honey if I have a cold. So soothing. Thank you Janice, you have a lovely day too and a very happy weekend :)
DeleteThank you for starting my day in the coffee group, with a smile that grew and grew and grew as I came to each picture and words. the rose is stunning... the food art is amazing, I am leaving with a smile on my face and sending thanks and hugs to you
ReplyDeleteWonderful and you are very welcome Sandra :) I am very happy to give you those smiles. Glad you had fun looking at this post, and you are so very welcome with big hugs to you also :)
DeleteMy favourite beverage with breakfast is either a cup of Earl Grey tea or just plain water with the flavour of lemon or lime.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds such a comforting drink :) I haven’t had a cup of Earl Grey in a long time. I should by a packet.
DeleteHow did you know I was drinking a cup of tea, as I read your post? Nice collection of odds and bods.
ReplyDeleteI have my ways Linda, lol! Thank you, happy you enjoyed :)
DeleteWe were in the garden yesterday and it continues to be a source of puzzlement that the weeds grow ten times as fast as any other plant, and they actually grow faster and denser as we get older. I would have thought it illusory, but other folks of my vintage tell me exactly the same thing! That condo is looking good!
ReplyDeleteI can relate wholeheartedly to your dilemma David :)
DeleteOh my word, this post is just filled with the most delightful things. I loved it all. The croissant crab made me smile and I loved the little kiwi animal as well. You've got me grinning from ear to ear this morning.
ReplyDeleteThat’s great Ann, always delighted when my blogging buddies enjoy my posts. Thanks for sharing that, you’ve got me grinning from ear to ear now :)

ReplyDeleteThank you Boud, so glad you liked it :) Thanks for letting me know about Jacque Pepin’s Olive bunny. I wonder if they have that on YouTube? I will have to check.

ReplyDeleteSaludos.
Muchas gracias, agradezco tus amables palabras. ¡Saludos cordiales!
DeleteI love each & every one of these pictures, Denise, and the message along with them too. You are loved as well. xoxo I used to be a "noceur" too but not now, that I'm older. I used to tole paint until all hours of the night, probably because it was the only time I had because of the littles being in bed & quiet. Now I have no energy for such things plus my eyes just will not cooperate...can't focus as well. I'm not an early morning person & need the sun streaming in the window to see properly. Getting old is not for the weak, that's for sure. *ha-ha* ~Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteHi Andrea :) I am very happy you enjoyed my post and thank you for your sweet words. I was delighted to learn of your tole painting. I did too, took weekly lessons for years. I also painted into the night for the same reason. And for all the reasons you mentioned, I stopped several years ago. Ah yes, I once was told by a dear friend many years older that growing old wasn’t for sissies. I know what she means now, lol! Another friend told me as she groaned when she got up and I expressed concern. Don’t worry, at this age we come with sound effects :) I know what she means too.
DeletePeach and love to you dear friend.
ReplyDeleteThank you dear friend and the same to you :)
DeleteI always love your odds and bods, Denise. They are so delightful. I especially liked the Snoopy, as he just makes me smile. The "let it be" is good advice, and something we just need to do sometimes. It's true, we do find peace in the garden, even when we are weeding, raking, or gathering, cause our hands are feeling the earth. The white rose is beautiful, and I find them to be very special flowers. I hope you are enjoying these June days, Denise.
ReplyDelete~Sheri
I am very happy you do Sheri, thank you so much :) I am a big Snoopy fan, and Woodstock. They always make me smile. The garden is a special place for us I think, be it big or small. The rose is gorgeous isn’t it? I am enjoying my days thank you Sheri, and I wish you the same my dear friend.
DeleteGorgeous post. Enjoy the garden centre today.
